This is just amusing:

• Emanuel: Chicago will get same results on police reform without a judge's oversight

Laughable. Rahm isn't going to spend a dime on any police reform he isn't required to. Plain and simple.And it looks like Rahm has already neutralized the biggest opposition:

• At City Hall, African-American aldermen who have pushed for police reforms didn't voice much concern over the fact that police reform efforts wouldn't have the force of a federal judge behind them.

Chicago certainly isn't ready for reform....and Rahm's re-election effort move forward.
