- Former Mayor Richard M. Daley has canceled plans for a speech at a small college in Michigan, after citing unspecified “health concerns.”
A spokesman for Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, said Daley had been scheduled to speak Wednesday as part of the school’s “January Series” lineup, but has since pulled out.
“Unfortunately Mayor Daley is no longer speaking at Calvin on Wednesday, citing health concerns for canceling,” Calvin spokesman Matthew Kucinski.
Pity, the children could have learned sooo much.
